Ok,this is an even more surreal discovery than the exit tribe.

In 1985 Hatch's mother, Martha, threw me out of the house upon (finally) discovering that John's older brother James was sneaking into my bed at night. He'd gotten drunk, puked in my bed and passed out.

She told me I was Satan's hand-maiden. (Close, I'm actually Satan's handbag)

After all those Biggest Bong-Hit contests, the entrants quickly blown out the window, and the surreptitiously consumed bottles of Kahlua, Frangelico, Irish Mist and Drambouis, it's ironic that James' vomit was what finally clued her in.

Tim LaBuff always won those bong-hit contests as I recall.

Wow! a fuggin John Hatch TRIBE!?! What next? Finding the Exit tribe was amazing enough. "FLUFF" here, signing in for the roll call. Yeah, i suppose i could blame the rats in our celing on JH. He came over and helped nail the cedar panneling on the celing of my mom's house when she was building it. I also remember being in Hatch's vacant old house one night as they were tearing down, (about 65th and Ravenna) and we started playing a drinking game with James and a few other weirdos, and every time someone drank, we had to take a swing with the sledge hammer. But we ran out of beer and James was very upset that he had to wait until 5am to get more. James actually ended up drunk in MY bed once, too! (I never slept with him though.) Okay, gotta run....

I was just a late-bloomer. If she had any idea what I would become, I'd have been banished as you were.

Good fun reading & reminiscing. I read your blog. Would love to know what else you are up to, Rebecca. Me? I moved to NYC looking for something, and am now seeking something else. Very close to finishing my MLS. Just one more class & my thesis. Gahhhh! It's been a long trip.

    Much love,

    Siobhan
